Responsible Gaming

On The Box is committed to offering a fun, fair, and responsible experience for all players.

Our Commitment

We take responsible gaming seriously. On The Box is intended as entertainment. We encourage you to play within your means, set limits, and seek help if gaming stops being fun or begins to affect your life negatively. We provide tools, information, and support to help you stay in control.

Tips for Responsible Play

  • Set a budget: Decide in advance how much you can afford to spend on entry fees and stick to it. Never use money needed for essentials (rent, bills, food).
  • Play for fun: Treat On The Box as entertainment, not a way to make money. Enjoy the competition and camaraderie with your league.
  • Don't chase losses: If you lose, avoid increasing stakes or playing more to "win it back." Chasing losses often leads to greater harm.
  • Take breaks: Step away from the platform if you feel stressed, frustrated, or preoccupied with results.
  • Balance with life: Keep gaming in proportion with work, relationships, and other activities.

Self-Exclusion Program

If you feel you need to stop playing for a period of time or indefinitely, we offer a self-exclusion option. When you self-exclude:

  • Your account will be restricted from joining or creating new leagues and placing entries
  • Existing league participation may be handled according to league rules (e.g., you may complete current contests but not enter new ones)
  • We will not send you promotional or gameplay-related marketing during the exclusion period

To self-exclude: Contact our support team at support@onthebox.com with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will confirm receipt and process your request. You may request a specific period (e.g., 6 months, 1 year) or permanent exclusion. Reinstatement after a time-limited exclusion requires a formal request and may be subject to a cooling-off period.
